Clara Rival was born in Buenos Aires in 1986. Her journey in the arts began in 2004 when she embarked on her studies in Architecture at the UBA. She later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts at IUNA, specializing in drawing and painting from 2008 to 2015. Under the guidance of renowned painter Luis Fernández Córdoba and through attending the work clinic by Silvana Lacarra, Clara honed her skills in the realm of painting.
Throughout her career, Clara has served as an art teacher in both primary and secondary schools, as well as in private workshops. She has also contributed her talents as an assistant and art director on various short films and commercials. In 2017, Clara participated in a residency in La Pozoliza, Oaxaca, which was followed by two successful exhibitions in Mexico City, where she currently resides.
