The children of Graniti take a grand tour of the latest group of GranitiMurales Artists in Residence. All 12 artists are from Vancouver, Canada and the children were able to meet each artist and learn about the motives/ideas behind each work of art. Themes of imagination, diversity, keeping the environment clean, finding beauty in the ordinary, inner discovery, and the dangers of spending too much time staring at one’s phone… to name just a few. A great big thank you to the school and the community for helping to coordinate a group of almost 60 children throughout the winding vicolas of Graniti! And thank you to the children for being so well behaved!

I ragazzi delle scuole di Graniti ieri hanno fatto un tour dei murales, che in questi giorni stanno realizzando le attuali artiste in residenza per Graniti Murales. Le 12 artiste di Vancouver, Canada, hanno incontrato i bambini e spiegato loro le idee e i motivi che stanno alla base dei loro lavori. Temi di fantasia, diversità, riguardanti la cura per l’ambiente, il trovare la bellezza nell’ordinario, lo scoprire se stessi, e i pericoli di passare molto tempo d’avanti alla tecnologia…solo per nominarne alcuni. Un grosso grazie alla scuola e alla comunità per averci aiutato a coordinare un gruppo di circa 60 studenti attraverso i vicoli di Graniti! E grazie ai bambini per essere stati cosí attenti!
