The mural aims to recall the identity of the area where it was painted.

“A fountain was once nearby, and it still remains in the memory of Graniti inhabitants. The subject of the painting was shaped and transformed by listening to the locals’ stories and their memories of the place. My fascination for palms had a big part in the making of the image. The mosaic-like technique is a very slow and meditative process. The colours I chose aim to bring a sense of serenity and lightness to my mural.”
