Kilia Llano is a multidisciplinary artist based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, whose work blends realism and impressionism to explore human emotion and its connection with nature. Through her art, she examines how social and personal experiences shape our understanding of the world. Educated at the Chavón School of Design in the Dominican Republic and Parsons School of Design in New York, she also studied Ancient Art History at the Universidad Autónoma of Barcelona and Art Education at UNIBE University. Her diverse training informs her vivid, expressive style, which bridges the real and the imagined. Alongside her creative practice, Kilia is dedicated to teaching and inspiring emerging artists. Her work has been exhibited widely across the Dominican Republic, the United States, Colombia, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Spain, and Italy, and is held in both public and private collections internationally.
