Morgane Billault’s mural, painted on an empty house along Via Roma with the help of local volunteers, captures the warm, maternal energy she felt in Graniti. It depicts a protective Medusa or Mother Earth figure embracing the town’s many street cats, surrounded by cascading anchovies and stylised pine trees from the nearby hills. Based in London, Morgane is a French 2D Animator and Animation Director with over a decade of experience in traditional and digital animation for TV, film, and advertising. A graduate of École Pivaut, she currently works at Art&Graft, specialising in frame-by-frame animation and motion graphics.
