During her first week in Graniti, Sheree Jones discovered a hidden ‘secret garden’ that inspired her mural, created through a meticulous three-part process: a defined colour palette, a tonal grisaille underpainting, and a fully rendered landscape. Based in North Vancouver, Sheree is an accomplished oil painter and member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, Oil Painters of America, and Plein Air BC. Passionate about painting from life, she teaches in her studio and online, and leads plein air workshops worldwide. Her work captures the vibrancy of colour, texture, and light, reflecting her belief in nurturing creativity through a supportive and joyful artistic process.
